Ska Music: The Fact From The Fiction

When I was at college studying performing arts the teacher preached that Ska music was a mixture of punk and reggae, anyone who knows about Ska music knows this is aload of old cobblers, but when I argued with the teachers they said I don't know what I'm talking about. The teachers would not be swayed they believed Ska would not exist if it wasn't for Reggae, well everyone knows it's the other way around. Here is Jamaican legend Bob Marley explaining the difference between these music as they developed from Calypso.
